Application Instructions 

Please complete the attached application form to apply for the Drum Major for Justice Scholarship and submit it by March 1st. Late applications will not be accepted. 

Requirements

  • Must be a resident of Alachua County 
  • Must be seeking a standard High School Diploma 
  • Must have overcome an obstacle or adverse situation that made an overall improvement of your quality of life 
  • Must be willing to write an essay explaining your life changing situation 
  • Guidance Counselor must sign the application along with school seal or stamp to verify that the student will be graduating in June. 
  • Must be typed or handwritten (legible) 

How Students will be Notified

Recommendations from local High School Guidance Counselors, Teachers, and Deans will solicit students from the various high schools in Alachua County.
